Privacy Policy

Overview
Park Your Cloud ("PYC", "we", "us") is operated by Ampity. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We keep this simple and direct — the same way we build the product.
What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- ■Account information — your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
- ■Cloud account identifiers — AWS Account IDs, Azure Subscription IDs, and GCP Project IDs that you connect to PYC. We do not store your cloud credentials. We access your cloud accounts only through the IAM roles and service principals you create and control.
- ■Usage data — schedules you create, actions PYC takes on your behalf (start/stop events), and token usage. This is needed to operate the product and show you your activity history.
- ■Billing information — processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
- ■Communications — if you contact us by email, we keep a record of that exchange.
What We Do Not Collect
- ■Your cloud credentials, access keys, or secrets — PYC uses IAM roles and service principals only. We never see, store, or transmit your AWS, Azure, or GCP credentials.
- ■The contents of your cloud workloads, data, or applications.
- ■Any data beyond what is needed to schedule, start, and stop the resources you configure.
How We Use Your Data
- ■To operate and deliver the PYC service — scheduling resources, processing token usage, and sending you activity notifications.
- ■To communicate with you about your account, billing, or support requests.
- ■To improve the product — aggregated, anonymised usage patterns help us understand what is working and what is not.
- ■To comply with legal obligations where required.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure hosted within AWS. We apply industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews.
Access to production systems and customer data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not retain data longer than necessary to operate the service.
Third-Party Services
PYC uses a small number of third-party services to operate:
- ■Payment processing — handled by a PCI-compliant payment provider. Card details are processed and stored by them, not us.
- ■Email delivery — used to send account notifications and support replies.
- ■Analytics — aggregated, anonymised product usage data to help us understand how the product is used.
Each third party is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- ■Access the personal data we hold about you.
- ■Request correction of inaccurate data.
- ■Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- ■Export your data in a portable format.
- ■Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (for example, billing records).
Cookies
PYC uses cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain session state. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PYC after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
